free/unbranded thunderbird mail client.Icedove is a unbranded Thunderbird mail client suitable for free distribution. The goal of Thunderbird is to produce a cross platform stand alone mail application using the XUL user interface language. Icedove/Thunderbird leaves a somewhat smaller memory footprint than the Mozilla/Seamonkey suite.

Install Icedove in debian

#apt-get install icedove

This will complete the installation.If you want to access icedove you need to go to Applications—>Internet—>Icedove Mail Client you should see the following screens

If you want to open Icedove profile manager go to Applications—>Internet—>Icedove Profile Manager you should see the following screen
