ProFTPD is a proven, high-performance, scalable FTP server written from scratch, with a focus toward simplicity, security, and ease of configuration. Naturally, ProFTPD powers some of the largest sites on the Internet. It features a very Apache-like configuration syntax, modules, and a highly customizable server infrastructure, including support for multiple ‘virtual’ FTP servers, anonymous FTP, and permission-based directory visibility.The main purpose of these tools is easy to maintain proftp server.

ProFTPd Admin

ProFTPd Admin is a fully functional web-interface for administrating and monitoring ProFTPd accounts, it uses mysql and php and is easy to install.

ProFTP Administrator

a web-based tool written in PHP aimed at managing users and groups for a ftp-server called “proFTPd”. Because of the ammount of work gone into this project it also doubles as a system- information tool providing information like free hard-drive space, memory- statistics and much more (Something like phpSysInfo - with the notable difference that my status code so far only supports Linux, FreeBSD and Windows NT). To get a feel for how all this works you can take a gander at the screenshots-page and figure out for yourself if this is the right tool for you.

ProMA

ProMA is a PHP4-based system for administrating a ProFTPd server that stores users in a MySQL database. Its features include support for multiple administrators, mail notifications when new users register and when accounts are approved, closing of accounts temporarily, and a notepad per user for the admins.
