This tutorial will explain how do I check ProxySG Hardware and Software Uptime through the CLI or GUI

Using GUI

Navigate to https://ProxySG_IP_Address:8082/sysinfo/version

Version: SGOS 5.4.4.1
Release id: 45872
UI Version: 5.4.4.1 (45872)
The current time is Wed Mar 2, 2011 05:05:47 GMT (SystemTime 478587947)
The ProxySG Appliance was last hardware rebooted 44 minutes, and 6 seconds ago. <--- total uptime from the last hardware reboot (Hard reboot/Power Cycle)
The ProxySG Appliance was last software rebooted 44 minutes, and 6 seconds ago. <--- total uptime from the last software reboot (Soft Reboot)
Serial number is 2607063231
NIC 0 MAC is 00D08304DCB5

Using CLI

Login to the ProxySG appliance using a Console/SSH/Telnet connection
Enter Privileged mode using Enable command
SGOS> enable
Enter the following command at the # prompt:
show advanced-url /sysinfo/Version

This will show the current version of the ProxySG appliance and the time since it was last rebooted. As this information is being taken from the Sysinfo file, it might take sometime to populate this information. Here is an example from the CLI running SGOS 6.1.2.1:

ProxySG>enable
Enable Password:
ProxySG#show advanced-url /sysinfo/Version
Blue Coat Systems, Inc., ProxySG Appliance Version Information
Version: SGOS 6.1.2.1
Release id: 54104
UI Version: 6.1.2.1 (54104)
The current time is Tue Mar 8, 2011 23:37:36 GMT (SystemTime 479173056)
The ProxySG Appliance was last hardware rebooted 4 days, 8 hours, 36 minutes, and 32 seconds ago.
The ProxySG Appliance was last software rebooted 4 days, 8 hours, 36 minutes, and 32 seconds ago.
