You have a large assortment of completely sillyness on this page.

1. Fluxbuntu has not been updated in several releases and is no longer secure.

2. Scibuntu is not a distro, but a script.

3. Linux mints website is www.linuxmint.com and has been since 2006.

4. Ubuntu multimedia is gone.

5. Ubuntu ME is now called 'sabily' and is at sabily.org

6. Guadalinex is Debian based, not ubuntu based. It is not the same thing. Since
the title of your article is "list of UBUNTU based Linux..." this is irrelivent.

7. Arabian Linux is here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/arabian-linux/ . It is also outdated and
   no longer secure.

8. Ubuntu Lite became ulite, and they are gone now, too.

9. gNewSense is still running, but it is essential to note that it is an Ubuntu spinoff that
uses only free software, so much hardware support is missing and it requires a bit more
knowledge then any other Ubuntu spinoff.

10. Mepis is based on Debian stable, not ubuntu and really has no place in your article either,
even though it is cool. :D

11. X-evian is gone.

12. Devubuntu is gone.

13. ebuntu is gone.

14. nubuntu is gone.

[OTHER MENTIONS]

redo backup is ubuntu based incredibly simple backup of entire drives or selected partitions.
http://redobackup.org/

moonos.org - lightweight ubuntu that has a gnome, enlightenment and lxde edition.

lubuntu - this was not on the scene then, but is gaining ground rapidly now.

bodhi - ubuntu based lightweight enlightenment linux which is already being distributed on
a couple of netbooks and tablets. They are actually porting it to the ARM processor right now. (wow!)

[And the comments that are hogwash]:

edupuppy is gone, and the comment was wrong to begin with ... it WAS based on ubuntu. The whole version of puppy was based on ubuntu.

Mint was NEVER based on KDE. That guy is huffing glue.

I would not even care, but your page still lists at the top for "ubuntu based distro list", so it annoyed me
the information was sooo out of date. It is easier to have you fix this then build a page to top it.

If you do not want to, let me know.

add Ultimate Linux to that list please. It adds all of the advantages of Linux Mint (codex's, non-open source software, etc.) and uses Gnome desktop instead of Mint's KDE.

I vote that Satanic Edition be removed from the list since it is not a distro and this is a list of distros. There are plenty of other sites where lists of trashy themes are posted.

I was playing with a light LiveCD last night, PUD Gnu/Linux; and during the startup, there was a disclaimer "Ubuntu is free software with absolutely no guarantee etc."

Distrowatch confirms: "PUD (Penk's Underbred Distro) GNU/Linux is a Taiwanese mini live and installation CD based on Ubuntu.

EduPuppy, as the name implies, is based on Puppy, not Ubuntu or Debian.

Apart from that minor quibble... thanks! This is a great resource, going straight into my bookmarks.
