		<description>It&#039;s worth noting that as of Ubuntu Hardy and Debian Lenny that the &quot;ncftp2&quot; package is now gone.  You&#039;ll have to get it from Gutsy (Ubuntu) or Etch (Debian) if you want it.

The only problem I have run into with ncftp2 is that it doesn&#039;t have large file support.  And it&#039;s highly unlikely that it will be fixed anytime soon as the author has decided not to continue maintaining it because of problems with curses implementations.  It&#039;s too bad, really, since I really prefer 2.4.3&#039;s interface over 3.x&#039;s.  Not to mention, ncurses (though I dunno if the author has problems with ncurses or not) seems to be more or less standard across the board on reasonably-modern Unix systems.</description>
